FOUR POINT INSPECTIONS in Coral Springs, Fort Lauderdale, Miami-Dade and Palm Beach.
The Four Point Insurance Inspection consists of the following four systems:
Roof Inspection for a 4 Point
Electrical Inspection for a 4 Point
- HVAC (Heat, Ventilation & Air Conditioning)
Air Conditioner Inspection for a 4 Point
Plumbing Inspection for a 4 Point
The inspection and report describes the condition and age of these elements.
Why do I need a four point inspection?
On older homes in Coral Springs, Fort Lauderdale and other parts of Florida, insurance companies are naturally more concerned about risk. For example, a home with a roof nearing the end of its reliable service life may fail while under the policy and the homeowner may make a claim on their insurance company for damages to the home or its contents. Similar concerns extend to the condition of the air conditioner, electrical and plumbing systems in an older home. If these elements are in poor condition, in need of being updated or replaced or were improperly installed, they may fail and cause fire or water damage to a home.
Can I Use My Home Inspection Report for this?
Insurance companies have very specific questions and reporting requirements so Four Point Inspections need to be completed separately and completed by a person qualified to do so. We use the InterNACHI form which satisfies most insurance companies.
